Combining the latest in modeling software and DirtLogic's specialized, proprietary software, we convert a two-dimensional, construction plan to a three-dimensional, electronic model. During this process, our skilled technicians provide a complete turn- key solution by incorporating any plan revisions, verifying surveyor coordinates and facilitating communication between all parties.

Using your GPS system, you can then download DirtLogic's complete GPS modeling package to determine high/low points, stationing, locations of utilities, edge of pavement, erosion control, and other features within fractions of an inch. DirtLogic's GPS Models reduce the chances of having to move dirt more than once. They also allow the work to be done solely by the machine operator without guidance from a second worker on the ground and create a stakeless/hubless site.

What You Get...

Many GPS modeling services can produce Digital Terrain Models. However, it is what DirtLogic includes beyond the model that sets us apart.

• Digital Terrain Model (DTM) built from profile data
  Includes every curb point, all high/low points and centerline alignments built using centerline profiles in addition to contours. DirtLogic's DTM combination of contours and alignment data guarantees accuracy that a model built from contours alone will not. Also, our GPS modeling process can reveals miscalculations in the civil drawings providing the engineer an opportunity to correct them.

• Alignment and Profile Data
  Allows you to find your exact location from centerline stationing. Never again will you have to guess which station you are offsetting from or how far you are from the centerline.

• Consistent, Clear Background Linework File
  Includes utilities, edge of pavement, erosion control, and other features displayed in color-coded, easy-to-read layouts (see images below).

• Cut-fill Map with 3-D Views
  Ongoing support at no additional fee (exempting change orders).

• Digital Plans - If you have plans in .tif, .pdf or CAD (.dwg) format, please send this information for faster turnaround time to receive a proposal.

• Engineer, Architect or General Contractor Information - If you do not have digital plans, then we will call the engineer, architect or general contractor to obtain the plans in order to put together an accurate proposal.

As soon as we receive your request, we will put together a proposal and email it back to you. After you have reviewed the proposal and agree upon the price, you can expect to receive the take-off within 1-3 days.

Any alternates that are shown on the plans we consider outside of a base bid take-off and will require an additional cost to include the alternates in the scope of work. It is important to inform DirtLogic you would like alternates included in the scope of work at the time of requesting a price quote and DirtLogic will include it in the price.

Over-Excavation Disclaimer: DirtLogic DirtStore Take-offs only apply to the base bid. Any over-excavation which is outside the base bid is considered an extra cost. Please let DirtLogic know that you would like to include 'Over-Ex' in the scope of work so we can price the take-off accordingly.

Addendum Disclaimer: Please note that the takeoffs are only current to the date that they are posted on our site and may not reflect any/all Addendum changes that were issued as we are not responsible for these changes and can't as a company absorb those costs. As per our Company Policy All addendum changes posted after the day we run these takeoffs are in addition to our offered takeoff and need to be purchased separately through us, but as with any job you order, we need sufficient time to process your request along with any direction you can offer to keep costs down for your company as well as ours.

Quantity / Sectional Depth Disclaimer: The quantities and sectional depths found within the reports are carefully researched and recorded. Sectional depths that we are unable to locate within the plans and specs are then assumed based on industry standards.  This report is sold ‘as is’ and any additional revisions above and beyond can be negotiated at an additional cost.
